Housing & Homeless

Homelessness is a real problem in our area. There are many factors that contribute to this, including reduction of a household's income, high housing costs, disputes with property owners and domestic violence. Staff counsel households on housing options, educate renters on their rights and responsibilites and coordinate with other providers in the community to help individuals and families obtain or maintain housing. Households are assisted with beds, furniture and other items, when needed.
