Administrative Coordinator/Staff Accountant

BROC Community Action is seeking a highly organized, full-time Administrative Coordinator & Staff Accountant. You will be responsible for data and monitoring for fiscal control of material expenditures for the Weatherization Department clients/customers and collection of data reports pertaining to the Energy Conservation and Weatherization Department.

Example of essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Daily tabulations of materials issued from inventory and vendor purchases

-Inventory control reports

-Updating the total expenditures per Weatherization completions reports, log reports, and other reports associated with the WX Department in conjunction with the WX Department Manager

-Work with Finance Director to follow accounting policies and procedures. Follow fiscal procedures for the purchasing of goods, purchase order control number, standard operating procedures for fiscal accountability

-Prepare general journal entries necessary to track inventory, work-in-process, and completion to be charged against client/customer jobs.

-Data entry

-Interview and write up intake to determine client eligibility, set up & maintain client files.

$22-$25 per hour plus generous benefits –a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Field Service Navigators – Rutland

BROC Community Action is seeking two (2) full time Field Services Navigators to serve Rutland County.

These staff members will work as a team with the individuals and families staying in local motels, and support these clients’ connection to services at BROC Community Action and area resources that will result in housing placement, retention and program services. The services identified may include vocational supports, mainstream benefits, health services, education and training.

$18 per hour plus generous benefits –a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
