Housing Supervisor – Bennington


Housing Supervisor –– Bennington County – $25 per hour, full time/40 hours per week with excellent benefits. This staff member will perform assessments for homeless and at-risk clients, ensure accurate data entry and grant reporting, oversee staff, provide training and work with community partners to ensure the coordinated entry process is upheld. Must be fluent with databases and have housing, non-profit and supervisory experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Housing Navigator – Bennington



Housing Navigator – Bennington County Full time, $21 per hour, 40 hours per week with excellent benefits. This staff member will help homeless families locate housing and prevent eviction for those at -risk of becoming unhoused. Duties include case management, landlord relations, fair housing advice, providing financial education and completing data entry.

Food Shelf Assistant – Bennington


BROC Community Action is seeking to immediately hire an assistant for our Community Food Shelf serving Bennington county. This position is part-time 20 hrs/week, M-F. $17/ hr, with some benefits.

 

Duties include: 

·       Helping to procure, sort and display donated food, maintain, and preserve inventory, and assure cleanliness in the food shelf

·       Assisting Food Shelf shoppers

·       Consistent and correct data entry 

·       Maintaining positive relationships with delivery partners 

·       Referring clients to apply for benefit programs such as 3SVT 

·       Maintaining time and attendance reporting as required by funding sources and partnering agencies

Qualifications:

·       Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, twist, and reach often and repetitively 

·       Customer service and/ food industry experience

·       Basic computer literacy

·       Reliable transportation

Rutland and Bennington

BROC Community Action has immediate openings in their Rutland and Bennington offices for

Weatherization Technicians.

No experience or tools needed, we will train you & provide everything you need!
