Kevin Canney

Hello, my name is Kevin Canney a newly minted (2023) business counselor in the Micro-Business Development Program (MBDP) at the Rutland office of BROC Community Action. I am a locally grown and educated, I have M Ed. From Saint Michael’s College, Winooski-Colchester VT. I have served Rutland and Bennington counties in the business field and teaching and learning community for over 20 years. Having taught computer applications at Community College of Vermont (CCV-Rutland) for 15 years, I developed a project-based learning component with students to design business plans and financial spreadsheets and charts. I have run my own business in computer assistance, marketing and education concurrently over the same period. I enjoy outdoor concerts, golf and theater.
