Seasonal Crisis Fuel Specialists – Rutland


These are temporary, direct service positions based out of our Rutland office helping clients in need of fuel & utility assistance throughout the heating season. You will be performing client intakes and determining client eligibility in-person & over the phone. Accurate data entry & maintaining documentation is essential. You will be arranging deliveries and payments with fuel & utility companies. Client confidentiality is paramount here at BROC Community Action.

This position is full-time, 40/hrs a week M-F 8am-4:30pm at $18/hr.

Victim Liaison – Rutland


BROC Community Action is seeking to hire a Victim Liaison. Under the direction of the Rutland County Community Justice Center Program Director, the victim liaison will be dedicated to serve victims and accept referrals from targeted community partners to provide support services. Victims will be specifically invited to participate in programming that employs restorative processes. 

 

This position is 32 hours per week, M-F. $18.00/ hr and eligible for full benefits. 

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

·       providing justice system navigation

·       promoting victim-led and informed advocacy

·       receiving referrals from community partners that serve victims of all crimes

·       leading support circles

Confidentiality is of utmost importance and accurate record keeping is a must. A valid driver’s license is required. Some travel is required.

Reach-Up Housing Specialist- Bennington



Bennington County

Reach-up Housing Specialist – 32 hours per week. This staff member will work with homeless families that receive Reach-up benefits – duties include working with the State of Vermont to accept referrals and coordinate services, overseeing tenancy in three master-leased transitional apartments and housing navigation.
